Contact your administrator is this condition persists.thats what I get after I https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/289971 set up a new machine for a user. I have all the updates from microsoft. Followed their suggestions here : http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=327291 Was curious if anyone here had an Idea on what would cause this and how to resolve it, thank you! I even tried directing Outlook to the ip instead of the server name. it is strange, since this is only one machine, and on all logins on the machine, it does it. "Error initializing session for virtual machine MAINSERVER. The error number is 0x8004011d. Make sure Microsoft Exchange Store is running." The Exchange Store service IS running. We are not experiencing any problems in the operation of Exchange 2003. We are able to send and receive reported error 0x8004011d emails without problems. This occurred after we ran recovery from a hard drive failure. Some mailboxes had to be re-created and their content moved back to the server from the blient cache. These users do not experience any issues. What would cause this in the event log is there is no apparent problem? Solved Outlook 2003 error 0x8004011D on exchange 2010 Posted on 2009-12-02 Exchange Outlook 1 Verified Solution 4 Comments 4,034 Views Last Modified: 2012-05-08 I just upgraded our exchange from exchange 2007 to exchange 2010. The exchange 2007 server still exists. I moved over one mailbox over, which is running outlook 2003. When I try to do a send and recieve I get an error message "Task Microsoft Exchange Server reported error (0x8004011D) The server is not available. I also moved a mailbox that is running outlook 2007 and everything works fine. I can use OWA on either mailbox and can send and receive emails fine. I do get a warning in the event log that says the OABGen could not generate full details for some entries in the offline address list for address list \global address list. I also get a warning that says the OALGen truncated or dropped properties for "Username" in address list \global address list because they exceeded the configured size limits for the version 4 offline address list. The MAPI ids are 8008.
