Problems installing Adobe Reader My problem started when I tried to update Adobe Reader. I received an installation error 1303. I was directed to a page that gave instructions for changing permissions, but the page only listed XP PRO and home edition, and VISTA. I have Windows 7. Adobe Reader does not show up in my list of programs in the control panel. I have tried downloading the file and then running it. I have tried the direct link. I cannot seem to get Adobe Reader back and working on my computer. I am frustrated, and I need to get this working ASAP. Can you please help me figure this out? By David Austin Edit Answer (for another 9 minutes) Take look at this discussion: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/670046it lists several things to try (and it probably links to the page you already found as well)I would stay away from the 1303error.com site however. I assume that there is a way to fix this without any questionable 3rd party tools. Karl Heinz Kremer Please specify a reason: Spam Duplicate Moderate Co
