Every so often I get this ipod error -50 error, and it stops:Attempting to copy to the disk "MY_IPOD" failed. An unknown error has occurred (-1303).Any ideas?iTunes 7.6classic 1.1XPMy music library is on a network drive.I have an older ipod sync'd using the same iTunes. I've never had this error with the older ipod - only with the new Classic. For example, yesterday I sync'd 20GB to the old ipod with no problems. Today the classic failed with this error at 2.5gb and 6gb. I've just emptied and resync'd my old 40GB ipod as a test. No 1303 errors. On the new classic, it failed three times with 1303 errors. Searching on the internet, 1303 looks like a disk access error. Is this something strange with the Classic driver? Windows 7: iTunes consolidate library fails: copy error 1303. Help needed 17 Dec 2012 #1 wagonface Windows 7 Professional 64bit 3 posts iTunes consolidate library fails: copy error 1303. Help needed I would be really grateful if anyone can help with the https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1354006?tstart=0 problem I am having consolidating my library. My itunes library is too large (120MB) for my Win7 laptop, so I bought a Synology DS212J NAS. I have created a new 'iTunes' folder on the NAS and mounted it on my laptop. Then I followed the official instructions on how to move my library: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1449 Attempt 1: some files get copied over, but then iTunes error box says files could not be http://www.sevenforums.com/software/269526-itunes-consolidate-library-fails-copy-error-1303-help-needed.html copied, error -1303 Attempt 2: some files get copied over, but then iTunes error box says files could not be copied, error -1303 Attempt 3: some files get copied over, then BSOD crash on my laptop All I could find is this website (http://www.error1303.com/) which says I need to give permissions to my 'program data' folder. I checked that last night it looks okay already. I can't give permissions to the new shared iTunes folder on the NAS. I haven't tried disabling the firewall and antivirus yet. I don't know what to do next. Can anyone help?
