Verify that the file exists and that you can access it." I can see the file using explorer, but the installation doesn't seem to be source file not able to access it. The file must be corrupt or defective, but it doesn't show anything weird. If it is a copy it probably won't work and give an error like that. Starting Excel the following pops up in Windows Installer. This just started after I did automatic MS Office Update from their website. I have a registered Ms Office with license number, etc and no other problems with MS Office except Excel. What version of MS Office 2003 are you using (Office Basic, Student & Teacher, Standard Edition, Small Business, Professional)?
