I had xp pro 32-bit on my other mobo before I upgraded and reformatted. I had https://forums.mapletip.com/index.php?/topic/114557-help-installing-error-1335/ just gotten a new all-in-one Kodak printer a few weeks ago and installed the software perfectly in my 32-bit system. But, now that I've upgraded and reformatted, trying to reinstall my Kodak Printer CD gives me a problem. It basically goes into installing for about 2seconds and then gives me an error. The error says MSI error 1335, the Data1.cab file is corrupt. I have no idea how to get around this, as I said the printer and CD is brand http://www.techspot.com/community/topics/msi-error-1335-corrupt-data1-cab-file.163637/ new and it worked fine before. I should add I have AVG Anti-Virus installed which came with my phenom CPU. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any suggestions/help is appreciated! Thanks, ~Wes Apr 9, 2011 #1 Wesablo TS Rookie Topic Starter Posts: 53 I realized that the automatic updates or whatever it is was checked in the Kodak program before I accepted installation is what was causing the error. After I unchecked it the installation went through fine. Don't exactly understand why, but oh well it's good now. Apr 10, 2011 #2 (You must log in or sign up to reply here.) So I downloaded the file (could only find v69, unfortunately, but I can patch it), and was installing it, when a box pops up, giving me: Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM (This doesn't run off a CD >_>), or a problem with this package (God forbid). So there's one of two problems, or both: 1. Nexon AND FilePlanet uploaded a corrupted file, which is highly unlikely, even for Nexon. 2. There's something wrong with my computer. I doubt it got corrupted during the download because I used that stupid Pando Media Booster thing from Nexon, which works, but is extremely slow. The second option is extremely likely, and I've been digging around for fixes for the last two days. >_> Things I've tried: 1. Cleaning my registry 2. Using Windows Install Cleanup to remove previous installation attempts 3. Updating Windows Installer 4. Clearing my '
