The same message appears now when I plug it in: "iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. You must restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes." I have restored my iPod. or so it leads me to believe. "Your iPod has been restored to factory settings, and is restarting. Please leave your iPod connected. It will appear in the iTunes window after it restarts." And then, the same message appears on the summary page: "iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. You must restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes." I do not understand what is wrong with it. I've already tried fixing it according to the apple site, but I can't find any examples of having this happen. If someone could help it would be greatly appreciated. 02-28-2008, 07:40 PM #2 dekalenda Freshman Lounger Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 4 permalink I have had the same problem.
