Rock8860 Level 1 (0 points) Q: Received error 1439 when trying to restore my classic. error 1439 ipod classic 160gb Ipod froze after playing on a Bose sound dock. went to ipod error 1429 reset and then instructed to restore to factory settings. I would recommend doing a disk diagnostic on the iPod's HD using the instructions given by turingtest2 in this older thread.
