I have 3 partitions on each 250GB drive. 30G /, 10G swap and 190+G other. The issue is not in setting up the mirrored pair -- that was pretty uneventful. The problem comes afterwards when I test boot each disk independently. After disconnecting the second disk of the pair, the box will successfully boot from the first.
