Have you tried logging-out/logging-in from the YT app? It's just a wild guess, as a "wrong password" should result in a 403 (not 401). –Izzy♦ Apr 17 at 10:01 just logout from YouTube ,it will fix the problem. –user177190 Jul 18 at 20:28 add a comment| 3 Answers 3 active oldest votes up vote 0 down vote If you're internet is otherwise working fine, it looks like it could be an issue with the YouTube App itself. Try clearing cache and data for the YouTube App. This will effectively reset the app back to default settings and you will have to log back in. Go to Settings -> Application Manager -> YouTube -> Storage -> Clear Data and Clear Cache. Hope that helps! share|improve this answer answered Jul 14 at 11:53 altobobcat 63 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote Go on to app store and search YouTube then delete it it will leave you on the last update don't update it as it will start showing the error 401 again share|improve this an

I can access it without problem on Chrome and IE but firefox outputs this : Authorization Required This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required. Additionally, a 401 Authorization Required error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. I use "mod_auth_vas" on the server for single sign-on. I tried to delete the cache and cookies... I tried to change the configuration and set network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris with my website local address. I also tried without proxy configured but none of this work. Any idea ? But I'm still not sure why I got this error. I know other sites that don't require the change in the config. But I think it is because my website is not trusted because it's HTTP and not HTTPS. Sorry for the spelling Regards share|improve this answer answered Mar 27 '14 at 13:30 Servietsky 1211317 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your an
