I only ask as I am having the exact same problem. It is so damned frustrating, spent the past 2 days trauling google and various forums and there seem to be so many conflicting instructions. I am using xampp by the way and the only

thing that I see that seems to be wrong is in the MinMySQLAdmin window, where under Environment, the MyODBC panel simply says "Not found. Driver 3.51 not found."Christ almighty! I have searched google for a solution to this and as to whether it is even relevent to what I am trying to do (connect to the mysql database in Dreamweaver for a login page for my website) and can never seem to find a straightforward answer to the problem.Any help would be seriously appreciated - for example the information that I have/should have typed into the site definition. Also, why does xampp come with both MySQL and Apache - aren't they both servers?Cheers,Dan AlanC Replied 20 Nov 2006 05:30:20 404 means that the page was not found on the server. That suggests that either it's not been uploaded or there is a link not pointing to the correct placetry looking at the DW view that shows your local site on the right and the server on the left (expand to show - it's like a square in the files panel) from that you should be able to see where your files areanother possible thing to check is that your server does have the database facility, you might have to set the database up in advance and alocate users and passwords first. If your hosting package uses the cpanel control panel you should be able to see the databases fairly quickly

I have 2 databases connected through dreamweaver but now I get errors. I don't know what changed. What I do know is that the MMHTTPDB.php file is not in the testing server or remote server at all. When I first connected through dreamweaver to see the tables (maybe 20 minutes ago) I got in, but then I went to add an area to the CMS and I can't get into anything anymore. Even if I put "w" for the username and password, it gives me the 404. So it doesn't even get to the point of trying the login. The _mmServerS

I used mamp on mac error 404 to communicate with mysql. But when I try to build database connection with my sql, I got this error: HTTP Error Code 404 File Not Found. Here are some possible reasons for the problem: 1) There is no testing server running on the server machine. 2) The testing server specified for this site does not map to the "http://localhost/LabelSite/_mmServerScripts/MMHTTPDB.php URL."Verify that the URL Prefix maps to the root of the site. Here are some possible reasons for the problem: 1) There is no testing server running on the server machine. 2) The testing server specified for this site does not map to the http://www.intrinsiceye.com/_mmServerScripts/MMHTTPDB.php URL. Verify that the URL Prefix maps to the root of the site. But, mmServerScripts/MMHTTPDB.php is in the root folder and my Web URL is http://www.intrinsiceye.com for the testing server setup in Dreamweaver. The files in _mmServerScripts load every time I try to make a connection. I followed all the advice online on all sorts of web pages, like to make sure that the MMHTTPDB.php and mysql.php files are set to read-only. On the hosting website I went to the file manager and uploaded the two files to the folder _mmServerScripts as read-only, but that is in the home folder which is http://www.intrinsiceye.com/home/intrin16. Does this have something to do with MySQL Workbench having to allow remote access? These are the credentials I type into the MySQL Connection: Connection name: IntrinsicConnection MySQL server: 127.0.0.1 User name: Uname Password:***** Database:intrinsicdatabase There is a select button next to the Database textbox and that is supposed to search for a database in MySQL, but it just gives me that 404 error. I have set up the Testing and Remote servers up correctly I believe and they have the PHP mySQL option selected in the advanced tab. After I had made the files read-only I was getting a dwsync.xml error for some time, but that went away. Can anyone help me with this? I don't understand why it is not finding the webpag
