I noticed that iCal didn't show any updates to my Google calendar since 10/28/2012. I tried refreshing the calendar, but that didn't help. Then I removed the calendar from iCal and added it back as a subscription under "On My Mac": still no events. Then I refreshed the newly added calendar and noticed that the Title of the iCal window showed "Calendar - Updating..." and it seems to be hanging on that update operation. There is no error message, though. Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by mhoerler, mhoerler Nov 1, 2012 4:07 PM in response to mhoerler Level 1 (0 points) Nov

The message I get from that sort of URL address is,HTTP method not allowedand so, with the error 404, I surmise that there is something wrong or malformed about the URL address http error 404 being used.If the Google Calendar is what you are trying to access, I have a few tips in this situation, for you to try:1. Try logging in to your GMail account ( http://mail.google.com ), and then click upon the Calendar link at the top, roughly the last choice in the top bar of the page before the 'More' link... that ought to start your Google calendar, if it is part of the same google account that you GMail account is from.2. If you are using a Shortcut, or a stored link or Favorites link or BookXXXXX XXXXXnk or the like, you may need to update it - the URL address for Calendar may have changed somehow.3. If you are using Internet Explorer, check first that you have a good internet connection (e.g. other web pages accessing OK), then try again. Then try a different browser program, to see whether there is a problem only in Internet Explorer. There are other things that could be tried, if the above fails to help, but I will need more information about what link you had, whether it worked formerly, how the link was stored or (if it was not a stored link
