It works fine, but after a few days, I don't can work with the IIS. After Reinstall + Reboot the web server works fine. The problem is, that I don’t can use ASP.net, if I access to a .aspx page I became the Error code 404. The log file look like this 2006-01-23 07:39:30 W3SVC1 127.0.0.1 GET /auth/login.aspx - 80 - 127.0.0.1 Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+NT+5.2;+SV1;+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322;+.NET+CLR+2.0.50727) 404 2 1260 I found in the technet follow Info 404.2-Lockdown Policy Prevents This Request If a request is denied because the associated ISAPI or CGI has not been unlocked, a 404.2 error is returned. When substatus logging is enabled, if you look at this request in the IIS logs, you will see an entry similar to the following: 2002-11-25 05:46:15 127.0.0.1 GET /default.asp - 80 - 127.0.0.1 - 404 2 1260 If IIS logging is not configured to log the substatus code, you can check the Win32 error to verify this condition. When a 404.2 error occurs, IIS logs the Win32 error 1260, which is an ERROR_ACCESS_DISABLED_BY_POLICY error. What is the solution for his problem. It runs perfectly https://forums.iis.net/t/956085.aspx?IIS6+ASP+net+404+2+1260 on my development machine, but when I try and deploy it to Windows 2008 R2 64-bit using IIS 7 it fails, indicating error 404 2 1260 in the IIS7 log. I have done all of the normal stuff, including: Setting the ISAPI and CGI Restrictions, Adding the Handler Mappings and setting them to Execute, Setting Handler Mappings Feature Permissions to Execute but none of that helps. When I enable Failed Request Logging, the lowest-level detail that I can get is: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7763204/402-2-1260-iis7-windows-server-2008-r2-web-service Error Code 0x800704ec Error Code 2147943660 Error message IsapiModule This program is blocked by group policy What is going on!? web-services iis-7 windows-server-2008-r2 share|improve this question asked Oct 14 '11 at 4:56 Michael Rodrigues 3,73211639 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 0 down vote accepted The DLL was a 32-bit DLL. By default, IIS 7 running on Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit doesn't allow 32bit dlls to run. There's a little setting in the Application Pool Advanced Settings called Enable 32-Bit Applications. Set it to True in the application pool to which your web service belongs, and it should start working! share|improve this answer answered Oct 14 '11 at 4:57 Michael Rodrigues 3,73211639 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.
