configuration to default? I have tried putting googles IP address in my address bar and I do get to the google homepage, but any searches from google gets the error. I have "restored defaults" in internet properties with no changes. BTW, my wife is no longer allowed to use Facebook on my computer when I'm working on hers, I think its full of this crap! I actually resolved the problem by formatting the hard drive as I was desperate, frustrated, and I try to format once a year anyway. I knew something had changed in my settings but didn't know what to look for.
