I hated that piece of software SO much when I had to use it sso agent reported: os error -1 for content filtering. It is incredibly buggy and fails more often than it actually works. I would get that message alot when a computer would be offline typically, it couldn't query the machine properly, or the pc would be busy cpu wise and didn't respond fast enough. Sometimes it would require restarting the program of even sometimes the sonicwall. 1 Jalapeno OP DJ8824 Jan 16, 2013 at 3:49 UTC We tried it and ended up switching to an iprism. 0 Sonora OP Helpful Post Jaime Escalera Jan 16, 2013 at 6:27 UTC For the most part, these issues are due to the agent's inability to successfully query a workstation. You will also see messages of this type when the agent tries to query non-Windows systems, such as iPads/iPhones, Android devices, routers, VoIP phones, Mac/Linux systems, etc. This also happens on non-domain Windows systems that the agent system would not have privileges to access using Windows file sharing. If you are seeing these on Windows systems that are joined to the domain, I suggest adding exclusions in the Windows Firewall (if its enabled) for File and Printe

Solved SSO Agent Issues - NSA3600 Posted on 2015-05-27 Hardware Firewalls 1 Verified Solution 18 Comments 936 Views Last Modified: 2015-06-22 Having issues for month now with pockets of users - https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/291795-sonic-wall-sso-error-53-the-network-path-was-not-found which can change daily. Win2k8 R2 mixed with Win2k12R2 DCs. Setup SSO agent on new HV non-DC. Also setup SSO agent on new DC but disabled per SonicWall. So only the one SSO agent running. On a daily basis, I have PCs losing their SSO Agent abilities using the CFS policies. At each station we have disabled the Windows Firewall, flushed dns, disjoined from domain, you name - https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/28680931/SSO-Agent-Issues-NSA3600.html we have tried it. I have a ticket with SonicWall open but not getting really any results to correct. The PCs having issues receive these errors in the Users Status window: SSO agent reported: OS error 5: Access denied SSO agent reported: OS error 53: Network path not found Agent did not respond Agent returned no user name I do have too many DCs right now as I am migrating a few out which means too many DNS servers as well (5). I don't know how to get those PCs back online with SSO. Windows Firewall was obvious. Tried opening suggested ports but still failure so disabled totally except Public Network which is still on. I think this includes the file sharing ones. I have the SonicWall communicating with the agent, I ran the tested through the test feature in config menu for the SSO method, it comes up as Agent is Ready. However, when I check a user by using an IP address it says no user found. Users have already been loging on with the authentication as LDAP + Local Users, I assume this would stay the same. As well setup was done with default setting. Any help would be appreciated.
