Error 628 Dial Up
to vote Hi, Based on my research, error 628 is due to the port is disconnected or the connection was terminated by the remote computer before it could be completed. Firstly, I recommend you make sure no related ports is blocking by a firewall. I also recommend you set the data encryption in Advanced Security settings of VPN connection's Properties to "no" or "optional" other than default "require". If the issue persists, please reinstall the modem and your network drivers.
