code 5 Tried doing the registration process for Winzip application in my PC and getting the error as “Winzip could not save your registration credentials in C:\ProgramData\Winzip\WinZip.sureg. Try deleting the Winzip folder from the Program Data folder to avoid the issue steps as follows, STEP 1: Go to C:\Program Data STEP 2: Check for Winzip folder -> Right- click -> Delete. STEP 3: Open the Winzip application and give the registration details again and check if it works. If still you are having issues then follow the below steps to turn of the User Account 7zip Control temporariyl, STEP 1: Open Control Panel -> User Accounts and Family safety. STEP 2: User Accounts -> Change User account control settings. STEP 3: Just drag the slider to the bottom and select OK. STEP 4: Do the registration process again which should fix the problem.
