Hi, Over the past couple months, my computer has been freezing up when it has been sitting idle for a couple of hours. I have also been getting alot of blue screen crashes lately. Looking into the event viewer after rebooting the computer when it freezes, I do see 1 reocurring warning listed: Event Type: Warning Event Source: ati2mtag Event Category: WDM Event ID: 1049 Date: 9/11/2005 Time: 8:22:24 AM User: N/A Description: SRB command failed – SRB_GET_DEVICE_PROPERTY Data: 0000: http://www.techspot.com/community/topics/system-reboot-with-error-code-1000007f-parameter1-00000008-parameter2-f773ffe.145570/ 00 00 00 00 01 00 5a 00 ......Z. 0008: 01 00 00 00 19 04 00 80 .......€ 0010: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........ 0018: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........ 0020: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........ SRB command failed – SRB_GET_DEVICE_PROPERTY I have a suspicion that this may be the cause of the computer freezing up, however I have already updated the drivers to the latest http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/117951-45-computer-freezes version and the problems continue to occur. As far as the blue screens go, these the error I receive in the event viewer after rebooting the system: Event Type: Error Event Source: System Error Event Category: (102) Event ID: 1003 Date: 9/9/2005 Time: 6:25:13 PM User: N/A Computer: JOHNF Description: Error code 1000007f, parameter1 0000000d, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 00000000.
