Error Compiling Movie Importer Returned Bad Result

The Preset settings work for Quicktime, Flash, Windows Media etc., but when I try to customize anything, the slightest error compiling movie render error bit...changing a frame size by 1...I get that same maddening error message. My client needs me create Quicktime files. As I mentioned, when I choose the default settings for Quicktime export, no error message. Same thing goes when I want to create Flash files or WMV files. Its when I change a setting on ANYTHING that I get: PRESET File I/O open error Going back to the quicktime example, the "default" settings are as follows: Range: Entire Sequence Preset: QT 256 Streaming NTCS Video Codec: Sorenson Video 3 Spatial Quality: 100 Frame Width: 160 Frame Height: 120 Frame rate: (fps) Custom 15,000 Field Order: None (progressive) Square Pixel 1.0 24 bit color That works, no error message...it's when I change the frame width and depth to: 720 x 480 (which, of course, automatically changes the preset to "custom") That will give me the error message.
