I checked in the browser and saw that "http://peerguardian.sourceforge.net/lists/p2p.php" points to "http://min.midco.net.nyud.net:8080/jinx/bluetack/level1.gz", which cannot be found. Can someone fix this, please? TIA! Kind regards, Ducem. I then uninstalled pg2, and attempted to re-install it. As it turns out, I now get an error message about "logic error" with the sql database. It then says that the database is either corrupt or non-existent. It then quits attempting to continue with the installation process. As it stands, I am running without PG2 at all. (First time post, btw) THX! I used the uninstaller, then a reg cleaner. No, the folder was still there undeleted. I'll delete the folder report back shortly. Thank you, and sorry for the delayed r

Other than that, which list is it complaining about? If "P2P", what happens if you enter "http://list.iblocklist.com/?list=bt_level1" into your web browser? --- Mark --- Lead developer of PeerBlock Reply Quote Anonymous User Re: Error contacting url October 09, 2009 10:54AM when i put that url in the browser "internet explorer cannot display" so im guessing its a service issue. is there a way to "allow" that url? http://forums.peerblock.com/read.php?3,1721,1724 my internet is working fine otherwise Reply Quote Attachments: open | download - peerblock.log (121.6KB) open | download - peerblock.conf (5.3KB) Anonymous User Re: Error contacting url October 09, 2009 11:07AM it is complaining about all the lists. it hasnt successfully updated once so i dont think i am blocking anything right now. i even added two urls that were suggested on the peer guardian site. [iblocklist.com] [iblocklist.com] im not sure if these are actual lists or links to lists but i get the same error and internet explorer wont let me visit the site either. Sounds like you're on a network with an upstream filtering engine of some sort, and basically they're blocking you from accessing the list.iblocklist.com website. This would explain both this error and the failure you get when you try it in IE. Other than talking to your network admins and asking them to unblock

I know it is a beta version with a few bugs, but it has worked fine for the last 3 months until about 2 weeks ago. gatemaker, Nov 9, 2007 #3 core2kid Regular member Joined: Jun 9, 2007 Messages: 2,441 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 46 1. Go into C:\Program Files\PeerGuardian2 2. Locate and delete the history.db and cache.p2b files 3. Go into lists folder and delete all except permallow if there is one. 4. Relaunch PeerGuardian and update. core2kid, May 10, 2009 #4 varnull Guest 9th November.. hahaha.. back when the lists had bluetac.org in the list of blocked domains/ip's... That was really funny... varnull, May 10, 2009 #5 (You must log in or sign up to reply here.)
