7 Replies Marisa W 5 Jun 2012 2:33 PM Hi there, Are you using custom forms? Do you use Crystal reports? That error message would normally have to do with the form connected to that transaction type (so possibly your invoice form that is linked with billing boss). Further to that, do you receive that message only when you select to use billing boss or when you are trying to sync it 20534 error detected by database dll crystal with your Simply? If it's during the sync process you may need to clear your cookies from Internet Explorer (Tools - Internet options - delete browsing history). If neither of these are what's causing the issue, then please provide a few more details and we can look at it from there. Have a great day! Cancel firstaidottawa 5 Jun 2012 2:53 PM That may be exactly what is happening since it is only when I submit and invoice. How do I unlink an invoice? Thanks, Andrew Cancel Marisa W 5 Jun 2012 3:33 PM Hi Andrew, You will need to change the form selected under: Setup - Reports n Forms - Invoice Under your printer setting (you will need to adjust this for both the printed version and the email version - make sure they're the same) you have 2 options to put a dot in - if that is set to Crystal reports and you are not using that program - then change that setting back to CustomForms Below that - your Form Type line should also be set to Custom Simply Form Below that - Description: if you don't recall customizing a form then you can select one from the drop down or if you have customized one then you will want to go to User-De

Posted on 2008-11-03 Crystal Reports ASP 1 Verified Solution 8 Comments 3,609 Views Last Modified: 2010-04-21 I am using https://sagecity.na.sage.com/support_communities/sage_50_accounting_ca/f/159/t/67177 Crystal Report 8.5 and use stored procedures in sql server 2000 to come up with a report. The problem I have is that most of these reports work on my machine. However, once I put out the application to be used by several others from an intranet system, they get this error "Error Occurred Reading Records: Error detected by database DLL. Error Number: -2147192179". For your information, I use OLE DB driver to connect to https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/23872444/How-do-I-solve-an-error-detected-by-database-dll-crystal-report-error-message.html the SQL Server. I also use html form through asp codes to use the .rpt crystal report. 0 Question by:dexeya Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 3 Best Solution bydro_law That could be a few things. have you tried running a SQL trace to see what query the reports are running when not on your machine? Most likely, it is a permissions issue. Are you hitting the database with the same user account on your machine as your on the user machines? If the query works from your machine, there is most likely nothing wrong with the SQL query your report is structuring. The only difference is the context in which you are running it. So, most likely , it's the account, or you

I hope I have this in the proper place. error detected I have a small business and I use Simply Accounting to manage my accounts. I have used Simply for the past 2 years and it has worked fine. I developed custom Invoices and Purchase Orders for the business and they have worked fine up until the last week. I tried to adjust the reports to add some more detail, once complete they were fine for about a week. Then, suddenly, they stopped working and I got the error detected by following error message " ODBC Error:[Microsoft][ODBC Text Driver] The Microsoft Jet Database engine could not find the object 'invitem.csv'. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly." Then it says "Error detected by database DLL". I use Crystal Reports for Invoices and P.O.s. I don't know how the flow works and invitem.csv is something that I know nothing about. Any thoughts ... Thanks. Apparently what you're using is referencing a file that it cant get to. Try and find the file yourself on your system.
