The Avast error when trying to uninstall is: 'A setiface error has occurred' (536870929) The Avira error when trying in uninstall is: Set up could not determine the feature https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=36418.0 control file or was not able to control it. Avast appears to be the best of the free ones at the mo but to uninstall it is a nightmare: AVG is slow and will want a payment pretty soon and I don't like the blasted popups to get you to go premium. AVG is very slow and resource sucking. MSE is the way forward (and about time too). Use Mbam and SuperAntiSpyWare as additional scanners. Thank you!:) I will sure mention this site on my MS
