Grahn 3D data parsing error issue with Reader 9.3 megakalmar Jan 25, 2010 9:40 AM Hello, I've got an issue with the 3D PDFs on my machine. It worked properly with the previous version of the Acrobat Reader (v8, I guess),but after I installed Reader 9.3 the error "3D data parsing error has occurred" for some (not all) files. The example files from Adobe webpage works properly but the files that has been printed from Bentley Microstation or Bentley PW Navigator don't work. I can see only RGB coordinates arrows, and model tree window (but no components' property) I have reinstalled Reader a few times, trying older and current versions, with or without Adobe download manager. Any ideas how to fix the problem?WinXP SP3. my sysinfo and examle 3dPDF is attached . BTW the same issue with the new AdobeReader9.3 installation on Vista machine... pump_station_3.pdf 304.4 K sysInfo.txt.zip 916 bytes I have the same question Show 0 Likes(0) 22251Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Something on the forums is triggering a PDF file. FWIW, I'm in Toronto, Canada if that helps narrow down the source of the ad provider. There were two flash ads present: http://dynamic2.anandtech.com

Sean O'Neill Aug 6, 2014 4:43 PM (in response to Erica Huggins) Hey Erica,Data parsing errors, in my experience, naturally result from a program's inability to read the data, or a general problem with the data itself.More often than not, using a previous/newer version of Acrobat has resolved the issue if it's a program-specific issue. Have you tried other 3D PDF viewers, or Acrobat on another machine as a sanity check?Hope this helps!-Sean Like Show 0 Likes(0)
