This can (depending on your eclipse version) usually be done by entering Help > About Eclipse > Installation details > {Select a version before your update} > Revert –Andreas Aumayr Nov 7 '13 at 13:55 I think Once you need to reinstall the eclipse and reins

I then tried to install only Dali diagram editor, but after that when i try to create config file to hibernbate i get an error: An error has occurred. See error log for more details. org/eclipse/jpt/jpa/core/JpaProject I then deleted the Dali plugin. After that I created a new project and .jars files http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11948824/error-in-eclipse to lib directory , refreshed project in eclipse, left-clicked to jar file, and got an error: An error has occurred. Also, run an Eclipse update before trying any of the above. Does it help ? If nothing else works, try starting with a fresh download of Indigo SR2 downloaded from here : http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/release/indigo/sr2 share|improve this answer answered Aug 14 '12 at 13:27 Ashutosh Jindal 8,9963160 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in S

When I go to close down the test instance, however, after the 'Exit Application?' dialog, I get another dialog saying "An error has occurred when closing the workbench. See error log for more details." I've turned on the Error Log viewer in the main editor, and nothing. I've looked directly in the .metadata/.log file, and nothing. I put a debug line in the plugin's stop() method, and the dialog comes up before that's called, so I can't yet tell where it's coming from. I even grep'ed for the string in the Eclipse plugin jar files. No luck. Can anybody give me any pointers on where else to look to either trap or find out where this error is coming from? If I run the test but don't activate the perspective, everything shuts down normally w/o the error message. In eclipse, they usually map to a Messages class based on the NLS class. In this case, it looks like WorkbenchMessages, and the field ErrorClosing. It seems to be used in 2 places in the Workbench class. I'd check in how you are saving your editors, and how your are saving yo
