I have changed file permissions to 777 for tmp,logs,cache,administrator/cache. Still i'm getting the same problem. Log into your hosting and check that administrator/cache cache logs tmp all have permissions 775 If they are okay then check the path for the log and temp settings in your configuration.php Hope that helps.
