Please reinstall the application." Detail The problem may occur in the following applications: Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional or Standard, Adobe GoLive CS2, Adobe InCopy CS2, Adobe InDesign CS2, Adobe Illustrator CS2, and Adobe Photoshop CS-CS2. Solution: Rename folders in the installation path. Remove any extended characters (for example, Ö) in the path of the installed application that returned the error, or reinstall the application: 1. In Windows Explorer, navigate to the application file. (By default, Adobe applications are installed to the Program Files\Adobe folder on the system hard disk.) 2. The path appears in the Address box in Explorer. Do one of the following: -- Rename the folder that contains extended characters. -- Remove the Adobe application by using the Add/Remove utility, and reinstall it to a location that doesn't include any extended characters in the path (for example, the root directory of the hard disk). For instructions on using the Add/Remove utility, see the documentation included with Windows. Background information Adobe applications that require activation can't be installed to a location on the hard disk that includes extended characters in the path name. Related Documents

I have the full suite installed (Win 8) and cracked. Occasionally, the apps will stop working and I error has have to replace the amtlib.dll. But anyway, the real problem is with Acrobat. When I try to open it, I get the following error: An error has been detected with a required application library or file and the product cannot continue. Please reinstall the application. Ive tried searching for a fix, but couldn't find anything that works. My big issue is that I was concerned about trying to reinstall Acrobat and possibly screwing up the rest error has been of the Adobe Suite. Anyone know if I can just uninstall/reinstall it without affecting the rest of the suite? Or is there a way to fix this another way...or, should I just do a clean reinstall of the full suite? Sorry for all of the questions - just not sure exactly how to go about fixing this. Thanks! Your issue is with the .dll (Dynamic Link Library). Somehow Adobe is "calling home" and re-setting your amtlib.dll file. Download, run and patch your hosts file with Adobe Tool. Make sure you disable your Network Adapters, then patch your hosts file. Then FlushDNS. Find Reply ScottAudio Last Active: Aug 11, 2014 Threads: 0 Posts:
