Its stuck like this for about a few minutes. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_other-gaming/games-for-windows-live-installation-error-an-error/46f23adf-539b-44bd-8eb1-4917573fa781 Then the "Log in to Social Club" thing comes up. Then i read: Please sign into Social Club before pressing Play to access online multiplayer and video uploading features. Note: A Social Club account is not required to play single player campaign. I cant be bothered to register a account, so i click Play(offline). Then nothing happens. I know this is related to Games for windows fails at everything, since when i doubleclick GTA4 again http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1252132 it wants me to install it, saying that the install failed. I repeat this 2-3 times, then i decide to install it manually. You say you can't be bothered to create an account, but I think you need to ask yourself which is more bother - creating an account or making a game that requires Steam, GFWL, and RSSC accounts work offline. spyrochaete View Public Profile Search User Find More Posts by spyrochaete Find Threads by spyrochaete 05-02-2010, 11:16 AM #3 Soodle Join Date: Sep 2008 Reputation: 13 Posts: 927 Creating the account wont solve the problem.
