An Out Of Memory Error Has Occurred Eclipse
vote 1 down vote By your description it seems you're having an out of memory error. If so, you have to increase the memory given to the java process. To do this edit eclipse.ini file inside the eclipse folder and add the parameter -Xmx with a value, example -Xmx1024m which would allow Java to use up to 1Gb of memory. You can also add this parameter to your JAVA_OPTS share|improve this answer answered Nov 29 '12 at 11:10 pabrantes 1,508923 In my case this folder is located in C :/ Program Files / Adobe / Flex Builder 3/FlexBuilder.ini and this file contains the following data: -vmargs -Xms128m -Xmx512m -XX: MaxPermSize = 256m -XX: PermSize = 64m -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack = true Which one do I change? –Eduardo Nov 29 '12 at 11:28 Change the -Xmx512m (512Mb max) to -Xmx1024m (1Gb max) –pabrantes Nov 29 '12 at 11:34 I assign as guided me and it seems that solved my problem. I am very grateful for the help. The computer company here has 12Gb of DDR3 I wonder if I can add to this parameter more than 1024 if I can add for example 2048 or more? I would like to apply more memory so I do not have future problems with this type of error –Eduardo Nov 29 '12 at 11:50 Glad I could help! Well if you're r

I've formerly compiled and run the application on an iPad 1, IOS 5.0.1 (9A405), but got on the device the error alert: "Uncompiled ActionScript Your application is attempitng to run uncompiled ActionScript, probably due to the use of an embedded SWF. This is unsupported on iOS. See the Adobe Developer Connection website for more info." Then I changed the FB compiler switches, now are set to: -locale en_US -swf-version=19 Those switche allow to load and debug and use small Flash Builder sample appication on the device. But, when I try to compile my real application to build an IPA file either for an ad-hoc distribution, either for an debug on device, after some minutes long waiting, I get a Java stuck, with this trace: Error occurred while packaging the application: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space at java.util.HashMap.addEntry(HashMap.java:753) at java.util.HashMap.put(HashMap.java:385) at java.util.HashSet.add(HashSet.java:200) at adobe.abc.Algorithms.addUs
section of the read me file for information on prevention this kind of error in the future. you are recommended to exit the workbench. Subsequent errors may happen and may terminate the workbench without warning. See the .log http://duongame.blogspot.com/2015/04/flashbuilder-out-of-memory.html file for more details. Do you want to exit the workbench? 그럴때는 FlashBuilder.ini를 열어서 다음과 같이 수정하여 메모리 할당량을 늘려준다. -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m -XX:PermSize=256m 작성자: 두덕리온라인 시간: 오후 7:15 이메일로 전송BlogThis!Twitter에서 공유Facebook에서 공유Pinterest에 https://docs.oseems.com/general/application/eclipse/fix-gc-overhead-limit-exceeded 공유 라벨: Flash 최근 게시물 이전 게시물 홈 피드 구독하기: 댓글 (Atom) 가장 많이 본 글 C# HTTP POST 요청하기 iOS ipa 파일 수동으로 설치하기 Android 소프트키 풀스크린 처리하기 C++ stringstream 초기화 Android error has 인증 SMS 자동인증 Android 5.0 호환성 문제 - sprintf 직접 구현 SONY SonicStage 4.3 풀버전 다운로드 OpenGL BMP 텍스처 로딩 iOS Xcode Objective-C ARC 설정 On/Off iOS Xcode에서 윈도우에서 작성한 소스코드의 한글(CP949)이 깨지는 현상 해결 태그 게임 (1) 과장 (1) 다운로드 (22) 대기업 (1) 무선사업부 (1) 삼성전자 (2) 색상 (1) 스타트업 (1) 연봉 (3) 윈도우 (1) 이공계 (1) 터미널 (1) 티맥스 (1) 티맥스OS (1) 하드웨어 (1) error has occurred 호환OS (1) ActiveX (1) Android (98) AndroidStudio (6) Apache (2) ASP (2) C# (23) C++ (2) CentOS (5) CLion (1) CMake (1) Cocos2d-x (2) DXSDK (1) Eclipse (2) EGL (2) ffmpeg (2) Flash (11) Git (5) GPU (1) Gradle (1) HTML5 (2) iOS (34) Java (7) JRE (1) JSP (2) Linux (10) Mac (21) MS윈도우 (1) MSBuild (8) MySQL (9) Node.js (7) nohup (1) NVSDK (1) OpenGL (13) Parallels (1) PHP (22) Python (8) Redis (1) RenderScript (5) Ruby (5) Shader (1) SVN (1) Swift (2) TMAX (1) TMAXSOFT (1) Tomcat (1) TOW (4) Twitter (1) twitter4j (1) Ubuntu (8) Unity3D (3) UnixC (3) Unreal4 (1) VB6 (1) VisualC (49) WebGL (1) WinDbg (1) Windows (10) WindowsPhone (1) XAMPP (1) 블로그 보관함 ► 2016 (60) ► 7월 (12) ► 6월 (8) ► 5월 (19) ► 4월 (5) ► 3월 (4) ► 2월 (5) ► 1월 (7) ▼ 2015 (217) ► 12월 (27) ► 11월 (10) ► 10월 (14) ► 9월 (8) ► 8월 (10) ► 7월 (2) ► 6월 (8) ► 5월 (17) ▼ 4월 (107) PHP extension 로딩 확인 PHP 소스파일 터미널에서 테스트 PHP version 확인 Android LG U+ IAP(인앱결제) 라이브러리 예제 FlashBuilder 프로젝트 rebuil
below error when it runs out of memory. It normally occurs on big projects when performing memory-intensive operations, such as building workspace. An internal error occurred during: "Building workspace". GC overhead limit exceeded Memory is allocated via Eclipse' configuration file which is executed during Eclipse' startup. It is located in Eclipse's installation directory and named eclipse.ini. The default values are good enough for small projects, but not suffice for the bigger ones. Below is the file's content for Eclipse Neon; -startup plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.3.200.v20160318-1642.jar --launcher.library plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.gtk.linux.x86_64_1.1.400.v20160518-1444 -product org.eclipse.epp.package.java.product --launcher.defaultAction openFile -showsplash org.eclipse.platform --launcher.defaultAction openFile --launcher.appendVmargs -vmargs -Dosgi.requiredJavaVersion=1.8 -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:+UseStringDeduplication -Dosgi.requiredJavaVersion=1.8 -Xms256m -Xmx1024m Fixing the problem means allocating more memory for Eclipse. This is done by increasing the values of some parameters in the configuration file. You should only be concerned of the following lines; -Xms256m -Xmx1024m Each lines allocate memory in Megabytes for different aspect of the program, namely the followings; Xms Initial memory allocation pool Xmx Maximum memory allocation pool for Java Virtual Machine (JVM) There's no one-size-fits-all solution for this issue as it depends on how much memory you need versus how much memory you have. You can start by probably doubling the amounts as in the below example and then go from there. -Xms512m -Xmx2048m The changes will take effect after Eclipse is restarted.
