However they are able to logon on an unknown error has occurred in project center, resource center or tasks different machines. When these users logon from their machine, they are getting message "An unexpected error has occurred". There is no useful information in log file. However they are able to logon on different machines. When these users logon from their machine, they are getting message "An unexpected error has occurred". There is no useful information in log file. What may be wrong here? Sanjeev Issue resoved . This is what we did - run Configuration wizard - iisreset - waited for 2+ hours./ Still trying to understand the mystery. The correlation ID corresponds to a every new request sent to sharepoint. You can use this correlation id to track the specific error in the sharepoint ULS logs.
