However, whenever you run the macro the 2950 error comes up. I have set my error number database folder as a trusted location but it still happens. Any ideas? Assuming this is a bug, can anyone suggest another way to run the code. Incidentally, when i try to run it direct from the Switchboard i get an error returned as well (although it doesn't tell me why). The functions does run fine on its own when done manually. DB is trusted (and subfolders) i have also set it to run all macros to test this and it still does not work. Researching this it seems as though a lot of other people have the same problem but i have yet to see a work around. Can anyone help? Solved Access 2007 VBA call from a Macro Fails with Error 2950 Posted on 2012-05-04 MS Access 4 Verified Solutions 6 Comments 6,636 Views Last Modified: 2012-08-20 We have an Access 2007 database that contains VBA code called by a Macro We have recently moved the database to a new location and now the Macro call of the VBA code fails with Error 2950. It still works if replaced in the old location. We have explored the suggestions within http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931407 We have set the Trusted Locations within Access to include the new location (and its sub folders) The database opens from this location without any mention of Macros being disabled Other macros (that just run queries) still work fine The VBA code works fine if we trace it though one line at a time within the VBA editor. This issue is replicated on a number of PCs and also within Windows 7 Virtual machine using Parallels on a MAC Are there any other places we need to set trust settings? Any other thoughts / ideas? Have your network people set a group policy for your machines that is applied when you login to your PCs that overrides trust settings set 'locally', or alternatively, do you know of a location that is absolutely definitely trusted and then tried to run the macro from there?
