They look all broken. They can read the files on CDs but when I burn a cd it seem that the burning was gone well, but when I try to md5 the media: md5sum /dev/sr0 Linux sometimes give me the following error: Input/Output error Or sometime it simply give me a wrong md5. If I make a: dd if=/dev/sr0 > cicco.iso the two images (the original one and the burned one) have different size. For example the openbsd install cd is: -rw-r--r--. 1 root root 222334976 2 set 17.40 cicco.iso -rw-rw-r--. 1 argento argento 222330880 27 ago 12.55 install53.iso the cicco is the burned iso (dd) and the install53 is the original. If I burn the iso with an other pc it works well. I mean the cd and the image gave me the same md5 on my pc with the broken burner. My opinion is that I have a virus that have flashed the firmware with corrupted one. That's really strange that all 5 burnera are all broken. Also I am sure that when I bought the lastone it was working well for the first 1 or 2 weeks. If u look the iso images you see that cicco.iso is much larger than the original.
