I don't have logs because the system repeat the same mistake. I attached photos of the error and I don't know with precision the affected package. Descomprime la iso en esa partición, directorios ocultos incluidos Edita tu menu.lst del Grub y agrega, suponiendo que la partición sea /dev/sda3 title Ubuntu 8.10 root(hd0,2) kernel /casper/vmlinuz boot=casper root=/dev/ram ramdisk_size=1048576 rw initrd /casper/initrd.gz Al reiniciar prueba iniciar la instalación desde esa particiónSaludos. Intente grabar la iso en un pendrive pero no botea... Tämä tapahtuu siis eri koneissa, eri distroilla ja eri cd-rompuilla. Eri distrot ovat olleet Ubuntu 8.10, Kubuntu 8.10, Linux Mint 6 sekä CrunchBang. Eri koneet ovat olleet Acer Travelmate 7520, HP Compac nx7010. IBM Thinkpad 43p kuitenkin buuttaa ongelmitta samoilla rompuilla ja distroilla, joilla se ei noilla ed. mainituilla koneilla onnistu. Eli romput ovat OK, koneet erilaisia.Kokeilin myös 8.04 versioita (Kubuntu, Linux Mint 5) samoissa koneissa ja niissä kaikki toimi ongelmitta, eli ongelmani on tapahtunut 8.04 ->8.10 versioon siirryttäessä.Missä on nyt vikaa ja miten siitä selvitään?
