A small number of users are seeing a 553 Permission denied error when publishing to Blog*Spot. If this happens to you, logout of Blogger, clear your blogger.com cookies, and log back in. We are working to fix this problem.

I really want to move our blog to wordpress ... but if we can not import our past posts - I don't think we will make the move. My real concern is this: once import the Blogger entries to WordPress, will my Blogger blog become empty or otherwise messed up?
