to clear the log of error reports or problems that are not sent out on the net. I'm not sure if I'm describing it correctly, but I know if you don't allow clear windows error reporting the error reports to be sent (presumably to MS), it stores it in a specific log. Now Some of my windows server 2008R2 have huge system disk space occupied. system queued windows error reporting huge My question is: is it safe to delete system queued windows error reporting files using disk cleanup? Or deleting C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WERSystem Queued Windows Error Reporting Server 2008
? I think it is only used for reporting and logging. The question is that I never deleted the WER content till now (discovered it today) and found that, in some servers, is useful to do so. There aren't that important they just report something has been done. Thats files with a log extension.Under System - Windows Log Files just remove the tick and try it again.
