At first, it looked like ALL of my pictures were gone. So, I went from the root of C unto my users and pictures and it said I didn't have permission and to click CONTINUE (with the shield) to gain permission. Pictures returned....mostly. I have a handful of directories that will not let me see their pictures or just a few of them. Same thing on them...says no permissions. So I click on CONTINUE and it tells me I've been denied access to the folder...I am the administrator and UAC is off. It said to gain access, go to the security tab. I do so and it says I do not have permission to edit or view object's securiy settings. Suggestions?
