Error Setting Up Transcoder Encore Cs5
• PRINT • NEXT >> • Error Setting up Transcoder (not answered previously) by ryan loetscher on Oct 28, 2010 at 6:24:44 pm Looked at the other posts for this issue, did not find the solution. Pretty straight forward: Mac 2x 2.26 Quad, Encore CS3. I have 13 tracks that add up to about an hour, separated into two menus with thumbnails, and a title page menu with a 14th "play all" track. All videos were compressed in Telestream Episode 6 with standard DVD encode settings. All videos say "transcoded" in the Encore project... all audio says "un-transcoded" for some reason, but when I try to transcode them in Encore it says they are already DVD acceptable formats. Problem occurs when I click to transcode anyway... or if I just try to build the project... it says Error Setting up Transcoder. I checked the transcodes folder as was suggested in a previous post and there is nothing there to delete. I am trying to re-encode everything now, but since that is going to take me a while I thought I might as well post for other explanations while I'm waiting in case that doesn't fix the problem. On an added note, two of the audio files kept coming in at only a few seconds, which is wrong. I had to re-encode them several times and eventually re-injested the files of the disk and encoded those and that seemed to work... probably unrelated to this issue, but worth mentioning. After using Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 to transcode my video to MPEG2-DVD format & setting up all the interactive menus in Adobe Encore 1.5 & checking the project to make sure there are no errors, I pop a 4.7GB DVD-R into my dvd writer & press the "Build" button. The dialog box shows that the video is being transcoded, but after about 15 http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?82847-Urgent!-Please-Help-Error-Setting-Up-Transcoder minutes of transcoding, the error message shown in the weblink below come up: http://www.photoworks.com/share/shar..._alb_pml&cb=PW So I can't transcode the video. This is the first time I've encountered this error dialog & I tried uninstalling Encore 1.5 & re-installing it again, but the error message still appears when I try to transcode a second time. The name of the MPEG2 file that I'm trying to transcode & burn to DVD is called "Deric&JasmineTestMPEG2Disc2.m2v" as shown in the below weblink : http://www.photoworks.com/share/shar..._alb_pml&cb=PW Please help me as I really need to transcode & burn it to DVD for my client. Much thanks in advance. Only the .m2v and the .wav (or .ac3) files are needed in Encore. #3 andybiz_2005 View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message Senior Member Join Date Aug 2005 Location Malaysia Posts 466 01-02-200711:05 AM Yes khmuse, I did deselect the .xmpses from the list when I imported the MPEG2-DVD file into Encore's timeline. I also checked the project in Encore to test if there was any design errors & there was none. So I proceeded to build the project, but that transcoding error message kept popping up &
