This may reset the control board if you don't have damage to the oven temperature sensor probe or the electronic control board. If the F10 returns, I recommend that you have the range checked by a technician to see if you have damage from the fire. Here is a link for the Sears Service website: Sears Home Services . If you want to diagnose and repair this failure yourself, you can unplug the range and check the resistance of the oven temperature sensor probe using a volt/ohm meter. The image below shows how to access the temperature probe. If you do not see mounting screws on the inside back wall of your oven, then you will need to remove the back panel (with the range unplugged ) to access the disconnect plug for the sensor. It will have violet wires going to it. Measure the resistance of the sensor. At room temperature, it should measure near 1100 ohms of resistance. It it measures over 2000 ohms, it will need to be replaced. If the sensor is okay, plug it back in and pull the upper back panel off to access the electronic oven control board. Pull the plug with violet wires off of the control board and measure the resistance through the sensor circuit. If the circuit measures near 1100 ohms then the control board is bad and will need t

Never assume that a part has failed based on a displayed fault code. An example would be if the eoC is displaying F30 (open sensor), the failure could be caused by a loose connection or faulty wire harness between the eoC and sensor or the sensor could simply be unplugged.
