.net Runtime Version 2.0.50727.5485 - Fatal Execution Engine Error
installed fine, configured fine, was sending / receiving email and then broke. Here are the symptoms: Event ID 1023, .NET Runtime Version 2.0.50727.5653 - Fatal Execution Engine Error Event ID 1000, Application Error, Faulting Application MSExchangeMailboxReplication.exe version 14.1.289.0. Faulting module mscorwks.dll Opening Event Viewer causesthe error, fatal execution engine error 80131506 "Microsoft Management Console has stopped working" Opening Windows Power Shell causes the error, "Windows PowerShell has stopped working" Both the Event Viewer and Power Shell crashes reference the mscorwks.dll file I can open the Event Viewer from another computer (which is how I got all the above information) It seems likely thatthe issue would be the mscorwks.dll file but I'm unsure how to go about repairing it without breaking something else. Also, it looks like things broke during a round of updates, there were 15 updates installed, including a security update for .net 3.5 sp1 (kb2449742) but I thought I would check here before going through them all. Any help would be appriciated. This server was supposed to go live tomorrow... guess not anymore. Thanks in advance. Friday, April 15, 2011 10:04 AM Reply | Quote A

The problem is that, radomly, it crashes without any exception on windows server 2003. When running it on windows 7, it works perfectly. No crash till now. On windows xp, it does not crash too. The only way to get a feed back is to look at the event fatal execution engine viewer and I get the following error: Event Type: Error Event Source: .NET Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting Event Category: None Event ID: 1000 Date: Time: User: N/A Computer: ""> Description: Faulting application "">, "">, stamp 4ce54d0f, faulting module mscorwks.dll, version 2.0.50727.1433, stamp 471ef729, debug? 0, fault address 0x000f675b. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. Is there anyone who managed to solve the problem?
