I just bought a 2007 Ford Fusion not more than 3 weeks ago and upon attempting to load my in-dash http://www.fordfusionclub.com/213-electronics-discussion/373284-fusion-cd-stuck-player.html CD changer for the very first time to use it, on loading the last disk, I got an error message before the system advised me to load the disk and the whole thing has locked me out. I try to eject the other disks and they won't eject, they won't play, and I cannot load the last one. I get LOAD ERROR, EJECT ERROR and CD ERROR any time I attempt to do anything. The dealer told me that these changers take a beating, however, this is a brand new car and the CD player has never been used before. This is the very first attempt and it fails. So, for them to say that, I disagree with them. Has anyone else had this problem with these Audiophile radio/6CD changers and how many times did you have to replace your radios? I have a bad feeling about this after digging up a bit of research over this weekend and I kind of get the feeling that this car will be going back to the dealer again in the near future for the same exact issue again, after they replace the original radio. If they fail that easily, who is to say that it is not going to do that same thing again? Comments? Solutions? I have a 6-year 72k warranty, so it is covered, but that is not the point. It took several attempts to jump it. After I got it started again I realized that my CD player doesn't work. The radio works fine but as soon as I try to switch to the CD player I get the "No Disc" message. I know for a fact that my 6-Disc changer is full. Also, when I try to eject a disc I again get the "No Disc" message. Finally, when I press Load, I get the "Load Error" message. I do not know what could be causing this. I believe it has to do with the fact my battery died. I'm not sure if its a fuse or the computer or CD player itself. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? It's really funny how things have changed...I have never even attempted to play a CD in my ST, as I don't use CDs anymore. I am all digital now and put the songs on a USB stick that I leave in the car. I also no longer use my DVDs, Blu-rays, or HD-DVDs (yes, I liked HD-DVD better and was an early adopter that got screwed), as I put all my movies on a Mede8er.
