I had a disc in there and it was playing fine yesterday. Today, I turn on the car and the cd player makes some weird popping noises and the CD doesn't play consistantly (different sounding than typical skipping). I then eject the cd to confirm that there are no scratches and put it back in and it won't play at all. The screen displays "Reading Disc" for about 15 seconds and then it goes to FM and displays "CD Error" when I try it again, it plays. Now for the interesting part. I placed the trouble CD in CD6 and it plays fine and I place a brand new CD where the trouble CD was and it plays fine. So I am not sure why my player was acting up. Is is possible that the laser is going bad? In-dash CD units hate discs with labels. I once got a CD with a label jammed in my dash (it wasn't my Fusion, though) and b
