upon attempting to load my in-dash CD changer for the very first time to use it, on loading the last disk, I got an error message before the system advised me to load the disk and the whole thing has locked me out. I try to eject the other disks and they won't eject, they won't play, and I cannot load the last one. I get LOAD ERROR, EJECT ERROR and CD ERROR any time I 2006 ford fusion reviews attempt to do anything. I put in only store-bought CD's too. The dealer told me that these changers take a beating, however, this is a brand new car and the CD player has never been used before. This is the very first attempt and it fails. So, for them to say that, I disagree with them. Has anyone else had this problem with these Audiophile radio/6CD changers and how many times did you have to replace your radios? I have a bad feeling about this after digging up a bit of research over this weekend and I kind of get the feeling that this car will be going back to the dealer again in the near future for the same exact issue again, after they replace the original radio. If they fail that easily, who is to say that it is not going to do that same thing again? Comments? Solutions? I have a 6-year 72k warranty, so it is covered, but that is not the point. I'm almost prepared to get used to that fact and the radios will be getting replaced often. › See More: 6-CD Changer Issue - LOAD, EJECT, CD ERRORS! I'm just poking around here looking for some advice. I purchased my 2006 ford fusion in August of 06 and have had no problems with it. Recently my in dash 6 cd changer has been experiencing errors when I try to eject or change the cd. It acts like it's going to work then after a few minutes I get an error on the screen saying either 'eject error' or 'cd error' Now it's to the point that I cannot remove my cd or play it. I called a dealership in the area(not where I bought it, they have closed) and asked them about it. They said they only take out the disc changer and send it off and give you a replacement to the tune of $300 to $400. I was just wondering if anyone else has had these problems and what they did to fix it. I was also wondering if there wer

Any easy fix to reset? The player holds 6 disks, but there's only 1 in there right now. I can't eject it (it says "no disk") and I can't load a new disk in any of the open slots (it says "disk error"). The radio won't even switch into CD player mode. Any ideas? I found a fix for his by accident. I was working on the car and needed to disconnect the battery. After I was finished with my work and reconnected the battery, the CD player spit out the jammed disk. First, if your CD player has any codes that must be entered when the battery is disconnected, get them now. Some factory audio systems have a security code that you can set. If the power is removed from the audio system, this code must be entered before the system will work. This is in case the system is stolen. It will be useless to the thief without the code. If your system uses a code like this, make sure you know the code befoer disconnecting the power or you audio system will be disabled when you reconnect the battery. The only way to fix it would be an expensive
