Gigabyte Motherboard Error Code 64
Error « on: December 01, 2015, 12:34:25 am » I recently upgraded my gigabyte motherboard error code 53 motherboard, RAM, CPU and CPU cooler. My new specs are as follows:GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 (Rev 1.0)i7-6700k2x8gb G.Skill RipJaws V DDR4 gigabyte motherboard error code 04 3000 R9 Fury XCoolmaster 750 watt power supplyRaid ControllerInternal Wifi cardWhen I turn on the computer the motherboard starts booting and everything turns on and gets power but then I get an error http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/f15/ga-k8ns-ultra-939-no-boot-dram-error-42280.html code 55 on the mobo and it shuts off and restarts a few seconds later. Error 55 is a Memory Initialization Error so i tried re-arranging the RAM in every combination and even tried without but got the error every time. I also re-seated the cpu and made sure none of the pins were bent. I am thinking it is not a memory issue but http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php?topic=16715.0 rather a motherboard issue. Any thoughts/ideas on how to fix it? So have you check the CPU socket to make sure you don't have any bent pins. Because by what you saying it doesn't matter if you have the memory in or none, you get the same code. Have you tried one stick at a time? I also tried only a single stick and that also gave the same result. Logged berte 7 0 Re: GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 Error Code 55 Memory Initialization Error « Reply #3 on

The monitor showed nothing. The boot beep was longer, about a full second or more. The boot process repeated itself over and over, each time displaying nothing and just beeping. I unplugged the system and moved the rightmost RAM stick over one slot. That did it! My primary question: the RAM is under warranty – should I take it back, or this a problem with the motherboard? I'd like to be able to use the dual channel capability. According to the motherboard manual, I should put the two sticks in the leftmost slots (of the same color) and not one in each of a different color. So, as of this moment (as I write this!) I don't know what memory state it's in. Secondary question: How do I check? Everything seems fine; should I be worrying? I really hope it's not the mobo. I use Kingston HyperX DDR2 RAM on a Gigabyte motherboard. Another detail I should probably mention: I ran memtest about a half year ago, overnight, (RAM was in the leftmost two slots) with no errors. The whole story goes like this: I've been having trouble for two ye
