BIOS Error Message Motherboards Last response: 31 October 2015 14:13 in Motherboards gigabyte motherboard continuous beep Share pfirepfox 30 October 2015 08:56:07 Hi Everyone, I am having trouble with my newly built gaming PC.
Gigabyte 5 Long Beeps
When i turn on my computer after 10 to 15 minutes it will shut itself down then reboot giving me an error saying "boot failure, some BIOS setting are not gigabyte motherboard 5 long beeps compatible". However, i have reset my BIOS setting on many occasions and the same problem persists. The weird thing is that it will not do this all the time, generally about 65% of the time. I have checked the LED debug and the error code coming up is A6 and when it successfully boots up it stays on A0 gigabyte motherboard error code a0 (which i do not think is a problem). I have already tried to take apart my computer and connect each device separately but no solution has occurred. Does anyone have a solution or another idea that could lead to one. My system is as follows: Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K @ 3.50GHz RAM: 8.00GB DDR3 @ 2133MHz (11-14-14-35) Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97X-SOC-CF Graphics: 4095MB NVIDIA ASUS GeForce GTX 970 OC Storage: 232GB Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB (SSD) Thank you in advance More about : gigabyte error code Best solution cin19 a c 1846 V Motherboard 30 October 2015 19:18:54 The A6 error related to the SCSI device, when the SSD runs at the ahci mode then it will show as the scsi device. Also the A0= IDE initialization is started. Maybe you set your storage mode is in IDE mode. the other day I turned the machine on and it froze at the Gigabyte Boot Screen with an 99 code showing on the motherboards code display. I restarted the machine and it worked fine no error then http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2844262/gigabyte-error-code.html about a week and a half later the same thing, it froze then restart fixed it. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this problem? I am not overclocking at all it is just the default settings. The only thing that I know might have changed is that I had to do 3 Mobo driver updates in order to get Internet, USB 3.0 and The Intel INF installation to fix the http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1952985/gigabyte-mobo-error-board-randomly.html SM Bus Controller Driver missing message. Built a new system three weeks ago (all to spec, no OC'ing) and all was fine. Yesterday while playing a game I got a hard crash BSOD with "WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE ERROR" and had to power the cpu off. Board now just goes into a restart loop and never completes POST. Diagnostic codes vary on restart but are generally C2, C3, C4, C5 (which in the manual are listed as "Reserved", though I have seen a code 19 and a 3E) before it restarts. I get no video (from my card or on-board) and cannot get to BIOS. I have followed the trouble shooting procedure, swapped video card & power supply, tried running with one memory stick (and swapping the sticks) but no joy. Also tried CMOS reset and removing the battery to get back to defaults. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, anyone have experience with Gigabyte's RMA process?
