Error" Review: Turning It Around By Tim Surette staff Follow @timsurette Dec 02, 2015 14 Comments 5 0 Manhattan S02E08: "Human Error" "Turn around" was a refrain uttered several times in "Human Error," most notably about the key detonator pieces in the Gadget, and things were turned aroundso much I'm dizzy. But if "Human Error" is to remembered for one thing, it should be the episode that reunitedManhattan's best pairing: Charlie Isaacs and Frank Winter. With Frank off proving his loyalties in a dank prison cell and then wearing army duds on the backburner as an insurance policyfor Darrow, and Charlie buried under an insane workload and responsibility, these two haven't shared much screen in Season 2 (and then they did, about half the time Charlie socked Frank in the mouth), but "Human Error" was a reminder of just how electric things get when these two are in each other's orbit. An early Gadget test literally went up in flames for Charlie, forcing Darrow to pull out the wild card he had up his sleeve and yank Frank out of the ditch-digging ranks. It's funny to think that Darrow keeping Frank around actually turned out to be most beneficial for Frank, because Frank knew than when Darrow needed him, the power shift would be enormous, and Frank could demand what he wanted. Turn it around, Frank! In this case, it was a full release from the Army, the okay to visit Liza again, and a seat on the committee that would oversee how the bomb was used and represent the scientific community. As Meatloaf sang, "Two out of three ain't bad," and the sticking point was the last portion. Darrow said he would choose another science-y guy, but it wouldn't be Frank. And duh-doi, Darrow picked his puppet boy, Charlie. And thus began another one ofFrank's plans to service himself, but in the name of others this time. See, this Frank didn't want to just get things right like he did in Season 1, he wants to set things right. Save the world. Crusade. And the only way Frank knows how to do that is by any means necessary, casualties be damned. The greater good! The majority! And Charlie would be the perfect springboard to get there.Frank didn't have THE answer to Charlie's problems, but he had AN answer. Citing human error, Frank showed Charlie faulty detonators that were mislabeled (with paint) and saved the day, or so we thought. This of course happened after Frank and Charlie agreed that Charlie would push the Target Committee to detonate a bomb on an uninhabited island to show the world America's power, hopefully leading everyone to cool their jets and not give the U.S. a reason to vaporize Japan. But those mispainted detonators? Nope. In the final chilling

By Staci Krause To refresh your memory: we left off last time on House with Foreman still leaving, Chase still chasing Cameron and House still being a jackass. At the end of this season's finale, we were left with more questions than answers and a state of permanent confusion, at least until the fall season begins taping - at which point leaks will probably
