of 92 GB), stops and display the error message, "Error during copy: incorrect function". I've tried it 3 separate times and get the same result. I haven't seen this specific error message in an error occurred while attempting to export the virtual machine failed to create export directory the forum yet so I'm not sure what to do from here. I suspect there are disk errors and that's what's causing Disk2VHD to fail and fail at about the same point each time. We're also trying to virtualize it so it doesn't die, which could be very soon. What's the best way to troubleshoot this issue? -Mike Software Configuration Manager waggingSiberian export failed for virtual machine general access denied error Members Profile Send Private Message Find Members Posts Add to Buddy List Newbie Joined: 09 January 2011 Status: Offline Points: 1 Post Options Post Reply QuotewaggingSiberian Report Post Thanks(0) QuoteReply Posted: 09 January 2011 at 8:35pm I'm getting the same message around 40GB (out of 75GB). I've tried numerous times, all ending in my frustration. I made a VHD of this laptop successfully a few months ago using v1.62. Now using v1.63.Probably nothing but that's the only difference I can find. Any updates since this post in May '10? I found a similar thread, please go through it for troubleshooting steps: Error on live migration http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/f8765c2e-8aa5-45e1-b208-b2cbdfeee6b6/error-on-live-migration Regards, Yan Li Cataleya Li TechNet Community Support

I think it started after I modified the partition to include more slots. Veeam automatically detected all of the incorrect function new slots and importing / loading works. I remember in Symantec BUE I had to remove the partition and re-add it after adding slots. Do I have to do a similar process with Veeam?Code: Select all3/14/2014 1:29:17 PM Job started at 3/14/2014 1:29:17 PM
