Cause The installation process gets quit abruptly due to one or more of the following reasons: Shutdown / log off has been called while the installation is in progress. There is not enough space to install the software. There came a pop-up that the end user had rejected during installation. incorrect function hard drive There was a pop-up with an error message. Resolution Ensure that the installation is not interrupted by Shutdown / Log Off either due to user action or by the regular shutdown activity scheduled after business hours by the admin team. Check if there is sufficient space to install the software. Else free the hard-disk. Verify the functionality of silent switches, such that there is no intervention/pop-up in the User Interface while installing the application in one computer. You will have to do this manually in the command prompt using the options specified during Package creation. If problem persists, contact support with the following details: Log files from Desktop Central Server. Log files from Desktop Central Agent pertaining to the computer where installation has failed. The Software Package that you were trying to install. Note: There are few exceptional cases where the error code returns as "1" which means the installation has not successful. However you can see that the concern application has been installed successfully. You can ignore such instances which are very rare and specific to applications. I really could see the data retrieve using attrib -h -r incorrect function error -s /s /d g:\*.* ... to make the story short, I click the exit button of the AutorunExterminator, the program doesn't finished the process of accumulating Autorun.inf, I know I must let it done, but because I dont have much time staying at the office and catch home early(much important one), I decided to shut it down. On following morning, I continue repairing the usb and that's the error message i've got. Installed several other programs via my d drive, then yesterday I inserted a cd installation disc and received the above error message.
