Started recently even though I did the 1.6 firmware last year. Already done the chkdsk process with no errors. There was mention somewhere else about spin down of the HDD that can be set but I don't know if it applies to the 250X as well..Product & firmware version: Mede8er MED250X f/w v1.6Audio/Video: HDMI output > LG 32"Hard Drive: Seagate ST320LT0 20-9yg142 320GB, formatted using Win 7 x64 « Last Edit: March 12, 2014, 06:17:08 pm by IsaacM72 » Logged Mediaconcept Newbie Posts: 9 Helpful Contribution Status: +0/-0 Re: IO Erro Stop Playback Issue PLEASE HELP!!!! « Reply #2 on: March 12, 2014, 06:22:58 pm » Some External 2.5" HDD require external power supply. The USB on the Mede8er might not have enough power to sustain the HDD operation. When I look at any movie, the movies often stop, and I get an error message: "I/O error". Then disappears the HDD (WD10EARS). Only power off io error helps. I tried 1.11, 1.12, 1.13 firmware.Does it all. How do I fix the problem?
