If the file is a temporary file, then it is also possible that the ora-27063 device has run out of space. This could happen because disk space of temporary files is not necessarily allocated at file creation time. Action: Restore access to the device or remove unnecessary files to free up space. You can pinpoint the tablespace and segment for an ORA-01444 error by plugging-in the file_id and block_id into this query on dba_extents: select owner, tablespace_name, segment_type, segment_name from dba_extentswhere file_id ora-01114 ora-27063 = 1030 and block_id = 602122; In some cases, the ORA-01114 error occurs when a whole disk or mount point is full.
