You need to refine your search so that it asks for less results. –Petesh Oct 24 '13 at 9:30 But it returned some results.seems like a problem at client side –Ahmad Oct 24 '13 at 9:42 Verify your assumption that is the case by examining the actual traffic returned from the server e.g. by using wireshark on the client system –Petesh Oct 24 '13 at 10:09 add a comment| 2 Answers 2 active oldest votes up vote 2 down vote accepte

In ActiveDirectory (AD), for example, there is a maxpagesize limit set to 1000 by default. This is the maximum number of results returned for any given LDAP query, including CQ user synchronization. For more information see: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315071?wa=wsignin1.0 Solution You have a few options to avoid this problem: ask your LDAP administrator to increase the maxpagesize on your LDAP server use filters in your LDAP queries to reduce the number of LDAP entries returned so that you do not hit this limit reference: (40240/CRX-3043) VN:F [1.9.22_1171]Was this helpful? The LDAP server error is usually followed by an error indicating the number of entries returned which is a few entries less than the actual size limit. There is nothing you can do to change this limit unless you are the LDAP server adm

The entry "cn=…." has more than "200" child entries. ODSM gets maximum "200" child entries. Use the "Advanced Search" or "Configure Search Filter" options to retrieve the specific entries. How can ODSM be made to display more than 200 entries in the data browser? Right-click on subtree entry holding more than 200 entries. Select "Configure Search Filter" set "Max Results (entries)" to a value larger than 200 but less than 1000. Click "OK". This setting will only stay valid within the current ODSM session and currently needs to be re-set at the next ODSM login. Like the article...
