LDAP Server settings. An LDAP server can be configured to return a certain number of entries that is not greater than the one defined. This can be done by modifying the server configuration files or the source code prior to compilation. In most cases such a configuration is made in order to optimize server load and prevent hacker attacks. WORKAROUND VLV or Simple Paging. Check that the communications security level is supported (SSL, StartTLS, non-secure)by the directory server and that the expected security level of connection security matches the port provided to the LDAP client. Use a known good tool such as ldapsearch (perhaps with verbose and debugging options activated) to connect to the directory server with the same parameters provided to the LDAP client. share|improve this answer answered Oct 9 '12 at 14:03 Terry Gardner 8,30721425 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.
