successfully). During the link, I get the following error: Turbo Link Version 7.1.32.2. Copyright (c) 1987, 1996 Borland International Fatal: Bad object file record in library file c:\scitech\lib\dos32\bc5\mglfx.lib in module _monobm near module file offset 0x0000054F I did a TLIB on the library file, and the output says: _monobm size = 1652 __MGL_rotateBitmap180 __MGL_rotateFull8x8AClockwise __MGL_rotateFull8x8Clockwise __MGL_rotatePartial8x8AClockwise __MGL_rotatePartial8x8Clockwise so the module _monobm is there in there. This module was creaed from an assembly file, so I went back and ran TASM on it, https://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20080430143439AAr24cb and it runs with no errors. I also went to the .obj file that TASM created, and did a TDUMP on it. Among other things, it listed the 5 procedures as being there: 000074 EXTDEF 1 : '__MGL_rotTable' Type: 0 2 : '__MGL_mirrorTable' Type: 0 00009B PUBDEF '__MGL_rotateFull8x8AClockwise' Segment: _TEXT:0000 0000C2 PUBDEF '__MGL_rotatePartial8x8AClockwise' Segment: _TEXT:0171 0000EC PUBDEF '__MGL_rotateFull8x8Clockwise' Segment: _TEXT:031E 000112 http://www.delphigroups.info/2/67/388139.html PUBDEF '__MGL_rotatePartial8x8Clockwise' Segment: _TEXT:0495 00013B PUBDEF '__MGL_rotateBitmap180' Segment: _TEXT:0648 Any ideas on how I can solve or work around this problem? I'm fresh out of ideas. Dexter Kent Olse Delphi Developer Mon, 29 Mar 2004 02:11:22 GMT Re:bad object file record There was a problem years ago where TLink got confused by non-standard usage of some fields in library headers. This may be a reincarnation. 1) How did you build your library? What product and version. 2) Since you can rebuild the library modules, you might consider loading them as .obj files instead of merging them into a library.
